As part of Shivraj Singh Chouhan's government, Mohan Yadav holds the position of a cabinet minister. His political journey reflects the Bharatiya Janata Party's strategy to appeal to the Other Backward Caste (OBC) community, which holds substantial influence in Madhya Pradesh.

In addition to Yadav's appointment, the government has named Jagdish Devda and Rajendra Shukla as Deputy Chief Ministers. Devda, a two-term MLA from Mandsaur, and Shukla, an MLA from Rewa, bring diverse experiences to the leadership team.

Narendra Singh Tomar, the former Union Agriculture Minister, has been elected as the Speaker of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly, further adding to the dynamic composition of the leadership.

Beyond politics, Mohan Yadav is actively involved in wrestling associations in the state, contributing to his public image and support from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). As he assumes the role of Chief Minister, observers are keen to see the impact of his leadership on the state's political landscape. The ceremony on December 13 marks a significant moment in Madhya Pradesh's political history.
