BBC Apologizes for Porn Audio Broadcast during Live Football Match; Prankster YouTuber Daniel Jarvis Takes responsibility

The BBC apologized after a pornographic audio clip was played during a live broadcast of an FA Cup soccer match. They issued a statement saying they were investigating the incident.

Studio staff were unable to locate the source of the noise, which played for around 15 minutes. Host Gary Lineker speculated on air that someone may have been playing a prank.

Later, Lineker tweeted an image of a phone with adhesive pads attached and revealed it was a prank.

YouTuber Daniel Jarvis, a member of the YouTube prankster group Trollstation, claimed responsibility for the prank in a video posted on Twitter.

Jarvis had previously been convicted of aggravated trespass.
